    1. Author Guidelines

    About the Journal

    The Jordan Journal of Applied Science - Humanities Series and Natural Science Series is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal established in 1999 by Applied Science Private University. The journal publishes high-quality research in humanities, natural, and medical sciences through its two series.

    Scope and Types of Submissions

    The journal accepts original research articles, review papers, and case reports. Submissions must align with the journal’s scope and demonstrate scientific rigor, originality, and relevance.

    Language of Submission

    • JJOAS-H accepts manuscripts in Arabic and English.

    • JJOAS-N accepts manuscripts in English only.

    Submission Requirements

    • Manuscripts must be original and not submitted elsewhere.

    • Authors must follow APA 7th Edition (for humanities) or appropriate scientific formatting (for natural sciences).

    • A structured abstract and keywords are required.

    Peer Review Process

    All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.

    • JJOAS-H: 60–90 days

    • JJOAS-N: 60–90 days

    Publication Fees

    • JJOAS-H: Article Processing Charges (APC) may apply.

    • JJOAS-N: Free publication (Zero APC).

    Ethical Standards

    Authors must comply with publication ethics, including:

    • Obtaining ethical approval for research involving humans or animals

    • Avoiding plagiarism and redundant publication

    • Disclosing funding sources and conflicts of interest

    • Declaring the use of AI tools (if applicable)

    Copyright and Licensing

    All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to publish.

    ORCID Requirement

    Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID ID to ensure accurate attribution and enhance the visibility of their work.

    Data Availability and Transparency

    Authors should provide a data availability statement describing how the supporting data can be accessed.

    After Acceptance

    Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments. Final acceptance is subject to editorial approval.
